Our History
The Forney Guard was re-introduced 3 yrs ago...before that there hadn't been a guard for
over 20 yrs. Ever since it started again more and more people have been trying out! We started out with six the
first year and have doubled that in 2 yrs! This year we are lucky enough to have our very own 4 person rifle
line! We have a new instructor this year who is AWESOME! We love him and his "split-personality's!
LOL! :) Our guard is about the same as any other guard...we get along mostly but....we do have "little" fight....alright
HUGE fights...lol but we always talk things out! Everytime we fight and then make up we become even closer! The reason guard's
fight is we all are together soooo often we get sick of each other!! lol and try to find ANYTHING to fight
about! Although even if we are fighting if something else is going wrong for someone we just drop it and help them through!
Guard is just like an extra family! When you need a person to lean on they're always there! That's mostly what our guard
is about!
